PREPARATION:

 

Pizza Crust:

  • Keep frozen until the day you want to make pizza

  • Thaw fully

  • In a dry frying pan (without oil, etc), fry crust on low-med heat on each side for a few minutes until crust crisps up again

  • Top crust with toppings and if desired, broil in oven until toppings are ready

 

Yorkshire Buns:

  • Bake for 3-5 min in oven to crisp them up before serving

  • Serve plain or with gravy
     

Kombucha, Jun & Water Kefir:

  • Seal the lid tight, turn upside-down, gently swirl, and enjoy.

CONSUMPTION


Fermented foods contain BILLIONS of probiotics.

As such, they will last for months in the fridge.

  • Fermented Garlic & Carrots

  • Probiotic Mustard

  • Water Kefir

  • Milk Kefir

*Sourdough Pizza Crust & Yorkshire Buns do NOT fall into this category!

Fermented foods are DETOXING. 

Start SLOWLY to avoid headaches & digestive upset!

Start with 1-2 ounces per
 day, for 1 week.

Each week, add 1-2 ounces per day.

Continue that schedule until you can comfortably drink a whole glass / eat a full serving.

If it's clear that your body isn't handling this schedule, reduce your amount.  Experiment - everyone's body is different!

VARIATIONS

 

Our products are all made in small batches, with living starter cultures (friendly bacteria and yeast) which helps to flavour them.


As such, variations in taste, strength, carbonation, etc, are normal.


Please note that our products may not taste the same as store-bought versions, including commercial kombucha, milk kefir, sauerkraut, etc, because ingredients, quality and brewing/packaging methods vary greatly by company. 


Some of our products may share a name with store-bought varieties, but are vastly different in ingredients, preparation, and resulting taste. 


For ex, store-bought sauerkraut is made with vinegar / wine at very high temperatures, resulting in a flavourful but dead product. 


Our sauerkraut is "lacto-fermented", resulting in a pre-digested, raw, healthy food, complete with millions of friendly, live bacteria & yeast, that help to heal your gut.


Fermentation results in a unique flavour which most customers really enjoy, and a few need to adjust to.  In our opinion, each product is extremely beneficial to our bodies, as well as being a delicious part of a healthy lifestyle.

PREGNANCY / BREASTFEEDING

 

If you have not been consuming fermented foods/drinks BEFORE becoming pregnant, then we don't recommend consumption during pregnancy, or while breastfeeding a baby under 6 months, due to the risk of detox.
